Most of our readers will be familiar with Carl Richards. Carl is a Certified Financial Planner from Utah, who is best known for his Sketch Guy in the New York Times, and for his distinctive sketches, which have helped advisers around the world to explain important concepts to their clients in a way they can easily understand.
Carl is a great believer in following your dreams, and he certainly practises what he preaches. In September last year, he and his family upped sticks and moved to the other side of the world and a complete change of lifestyle.
In this podcast, the first in a new series, produced by Regis Media, Carl explains why he decided to start afresh in New Zealand and how he’s getting on there. He also recounts a dramatic event that left him more convinced than ever that life’s too short not to do the things you really want to.
