Dan Solin: The firms that grow will be those that communicate best

If Dan Solin depressed you slightly in Episode 4 of our audio podcast Intelligent Adviser, then Episodes 5 and 6 are designed to redress the balance.
As well as being an experienced adviser himself, Dan has specialist expertise in sales and marketing. Most of his work time now is spent helping advisers to generate new leads and then convert them.
In the last episode he told us he feared for the future of the advice profession. Smaller firms, he said, are particularly at risk from increasing competition, new technology and changing client expectations.
