Coming to Birmingham on 20th March?

There’s good news and bad news for evidence-based financial advisers in the UK. The good news is that we’re holding an unmissable event for evidence-based financial firms in Birmingham on Wednesday March 20th. The bad news we only have space for 60 delegates.

The keynote speaker is Barry LaValley. Based in British Columbia, Barry is a leading authority on the lifestyle transition to retirement. He has also co-authored a book about the changing face of advice, called The Life-First Advisor and has worked as a consultant to growing advice businesses all over the world.

Barry’s presentation is entitled The Life-first approach: becoming the modern advisory firm.

The other speakers, and the topics they’ll be talking about, are as follows:

— Abraham Okusanya from Finalytiq (adviser technology)

— David Swanwick from Dimensional Fund Advisors (client communications)

— Max Tennant from Global Systematic Investors (sustainable investing)

Finally, I shall be speaking about how advice businesses can use content and social media to attract, retain and educate clients — and keep them invested during periods of market volatility.

Who is the event for?

It’s for advisers with an evidence-based investment philosophy or who are either considering, or are in the process of, transitioning to an evidence-based approach.

How much does it cost?

This is a not-for-profit event, sponsored by RockWealth. The £75 registration fee is purely to cover our costs.

Where is the event being held?

It’s happening in Room 101 at the iconic Library of Birmingham, which is a 10-15 minute walk from New Street Station.

How long will it run for?

It starts at 1000 and finishes at 1500.

Will there be other events?

Depending on the response we have to this event, we may hold more events in the future.

How do I book?

Just follow the Eventrbrite link.

Remember, spaces are strictly limited, so please book now if you’d like to join us.
